ecoRise

EcoRise is an organization that helps support teachers and students through educational efforts and materials. Their award-winning, standards-aligned K–12 curriculum includes the Sustainable Intelligence lessons, which cover key eco-themes such as water, waste, food, energy, transportation, air, and public spaces. Curricula has more than 165 lessons available in English and Spanish, and educators also receive instructions, cultural adaptation tips, assessment tools, and community engagement ideas. EcoRise also offers an Introduction to Environmental Justice program for elementary through high school students, featuring interactive lessons, worksheets, and illustrated materials that support critical thinking and awareness. Teachers are supported through in-person and virtual training, and gain access to an online platform with self-paced resources, instructional tools, and a global educator network. Through Gen:Thrive, EcoRise applies a data-driven approach to deploy environmental literacy and climate justice programs.
