The Santa Clara County Youth Climate Initiative is a regional program dedicated to empowering young people with the knowledge and skills to lead on climate and environmental topics. It offers students and activists access to advocacy events, volunteer opportunities, and multimedia resources such as green career guides, virtual events, and climate action toolkits. For K-12 educators, the initiative provides climate literacy curricula and classroom experiences developed with local school districts, covering climate science, impacts, solutions, climate justice, and more. Additional resources include student-created lessons and links to funding opportunities that support environmental education and action.
